Esan Snow Area & Tough Wind Deserted Area Quest Guide

This guide covers the level 28–45 quest progression for:

• Rain: Esan Snow Area (ESA), connected to Rain Town and Jede
• Millena: Tough Wind Deserted Area (TWD), connected to Millena Town and Haku

The raw quest data contains several different systems mixed together:

1. normal Mission Messenger quests;
2. map-entry and story quests;
3. repeatable timed hunting chains;
4. equipment production and delivery chains;
5. map reward and gratitude exchanges.

The guide separates these systems and explains how their quest items connect.

> Important: Most map quests are not one continuous mandatory storyline. Several are repeatable quest families that unlock at different levels. The confusing part is that some rewards are currencies or supply items used by another quest.

Quick Route Overview

1. Esan Snow Area — Rain Route

Where the relevant NPCs are

The town files confirm that Rain Town and Jede use different NPC codes even when related NPC roles or names recur. Do not use coordinates from another map simply because an NPC has a similar name.

Level 28 — Entering Esan Snow Area

[28] Deliver script to Esan Snow Area

1. Accept the quest before entering ESA.
2. Travel to Ingarden in Esan Snow Area.
3. Deliver the security script to Coodalran.
4. The quest completes through the Mission Messenger entry.
5. The listed reward is Bible of Experience 1.

This is the cleanest introduction to the map and places you at the Ingarden quest hub.

Level 28 — Pico Training Chain

These are timed, repeatable training quests from Vesi at Ingarden. They are sequential in theme and increase the target difficulty.

Female Pico route

1. Learn Hunting Female Pico 1

• Kill 20 Female Pico.

1. Learn Hunting Female Pico 2

• Kill 20 Female Pico (stronger variant).

1. Learn Hunting Female Pico 3

• Kill Pikaduo, the leader near Ingarden.

Male Pico route

1. Learn Hunting Male Pico 1

• Kill 20 Male Pico.

1. Learn Hunting Male Pico 2

• Kill 20 Male Pico (stronger variant).

1. Learn Hunting Male Pico 3

• Kill Picmanser.

Each stage rewards Reward of Ingarden. The additional numbered reward items in the data are quest-progress markers and should not be treated as normal equipment.

Level 30 — Mission Messenger Quests

[30] Delicious Omelette

• Collect 30 Pico Eggs.
• Source: Female Pico.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

[30] Pico Drumlets

• Collect 30 Pico Meat.
• Source: Pico enemies.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

These quests are independent. They can be completed together while farming Picos.

Level 33 — Urake Material Quests

[33] Urake Curry

• Collect 30 Soft Urake Meat.
• Source: Female Urake.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

[33] Energy Drink

• Collect 30 Urake Intestines.
• The item is named only Urake in the item table, but the quest text identifies it as intestines.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

Both can be farmed during the same Urake session.

Level 36 — Mixed Pico and Urake Quests

[36] Designer's Request

Requirements:

• 1 Soft Tail Feather
• Kill 10 Female Pico
• Kill 10 Male Pico

The Soft Tail Feather comes from Head Pico.

[36] Parak Sausages

Requirements:

• 20 Pico Livers
• 20 Urake Tongues

This is a pure item collection quest and can be combined with the level-36 hunting objectives.

Powerful Necklace +5

This side quest is completed at Nanaa Paras.

The four stolen +5 necklaces are split between:

• Picmanser in Esan Snow Area;
• Kingpoi in Maze of Armis.

After recovering all four, the reward is Force Necklace +5.

This quest is not an Ingarden reward chain. It is a separate equipment quest that happens to use an ESA boss.

Level 38 — Urake Training Chain

The level-38 timed quests from Vesi mirror the earlier Pico training chain.

Female Urake route

1. Kill 20 Female Urake.
2. Kill 20 stronger Female Urake variants.
3. Kill Wakaru, the female Urake leader.

Male Urake route

1. Kill 20 Male Urake.
2. Kill 20 stronger Male Urake variants.
3. Kill Orso.

Each step awards Reward of Ingarden.

Level 40 — Higher ESA Mission Quests

[40] Urake Massacre

Kill:

• 10 Female Urake;
• 10 Male Urake;
• 1 Head Urake.

[40] Supply of Fine Fur

• Collect 30 Colos Fur.
• Source: Colos enemies.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

Level 41 — Powerful Necklace +6

The four stolen +6 necklaces are split between:

• Orso in Esan Snow Area;
• Elda Dofla in Maze of Armis.

Return all four to Nanaa Paras to receive Force Necklace +6.

Level 43 — Colos Material Quest

[43] Unique Mineral

• Collect 30 Unique Minerals.
• Source: the hammers of Colos Fighters.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

Level 43 — Ingarden Defense Chain

These are timed daily quests completed through Ceigen. They look like separate quests in the client, but their descriptions form a clear escalation.

Recommended order

1. Hunt Colos

• Kill 15 Colos and 15 stronger Colos variants.

1. Leak Information

• Kill Colos Scouts.
• Obtain Scout Mission Paper.

1. The 1st Information

• Hunt the combat group.
• Obtain Combat Mission Paper.

1. The 2nd Information

• Hunt Colos Guardians.
• Obtain Guardian Mission Paper.

1. Collect Core

• Collect:
• 10 Supernatural Bind Cores;
• 10 Fire Bind Cores.

1. The 1st Counterattack

• Obtain Secret Information of Warrior.

1. The 2nd Counterattack

• Obtain Secret Information of Hero.

1. Subdual Colos

• Kill 20 Colos Fighters and 20 stronger variants.

1. Be Stable Ingarden of Esan Snow Area

• Kill:
• Radok Colos;
• Machotu Colos;
• Killbrate.

Every step rewards Reward of Ingarden. The mission papers are required by their own stage; they are not converted into gratitude.

Reward of Ingarden

Reward of Ingarden is the common reward token for Ingarden timed quests.

It is used by ESA reward/exchange quests and by the local equipment-production system. Keep it until you know which reward you want.

The raw quest data contains many class-specific exchange entries. They are intentionally not repeated one by one here because they all follow the same rule:

• complete Ingarden quests;
• collect Reward of Ingarden;
• spend the required amount on the class-specific item or exchange quest.

ESA Equipment Production and Delivery Chains

These quests are the most confusing part of the map.

The general pattern

Collect +1, +2 and +3 equipment pieces
        ↓
Complete "Make [Equipment] S"
        ↓
Receive the S equipment / supply quest item
        ↓
Accept "Transfer [Equipment] S"
        ↓
Deliver it to the named military NPC
        ↓
Receive Reward of Ingarden

The production quest and transfer quest are separate. Do not sell or discard the newly created S item before checking whether a transfer quest requires it.

Examples include:

• Sebiar equipment;
• later Rain armor tiers;
• Rain weapon tiers;
• class-specific supply pieces.

The exact piece changes by level bracket, but the dependency always follows the same design.

2. Tough Wind Deserted Area — Millena Route

Where the relevant NPCs are

The Haku and Millena Town files contain different NPC code groups. A hand-in to Detruit Blodger or Flora Aramis is therefore a trip to Haku, not Millena Town.

Level 28 — Entering Tough Wind Deserted Area

[28] Deliver script to Tough Wind Deserted Area

1. Travel to the Advance Base in TWD.
2. Deliver the important security script to Geren.
3. Complete the quest through the Mission Messenger entry.
4. The listed reward is Bible of Experience 1.

Level 30 — Core Reward and Gratitude Chain

This is the clearest interlinked quest chain in TWD.

Step 1: [30] Kayron Hunt

• Collect 30 Kayron Horns.
• Reward:
• 1 Reward of the Deserted Area;
• additional normal consumable rewards.

Step 2: [30] Reward of the Deserted Area

• Bring 3 Reward of the Deserted Area.
• Receive:
• 1 Gratitude of the Deserted Area.

Dependency flow

The first quest must therefore be completed three times to create one Gratitude, unless another quest also awards the same Reward token.

Do not confuse:

• Reward of the Deserted Area — intermediate token;
• Gratitude of the Deserted Area — higher exchange currency;
• Reward of Advance Base — a different token used by Advance Base timed quests;
• Gratitude of Advance Base — a different higher currency.

Level 30 — Story/Delivery Chain Around the Advance Base

The quest file contains the following connected narrative:

1. The Daily Journal of Leggie

• Carry Leggie's journal toward Agnon.
• Quest hand-in is listed through Louise Grace.

1. Investigate Vekente

• Investigate Vekente.
• Report to Codilia.

1. Agnon's Message

• Carry the document toward Pisaro.
• The completion NPC is listed as Leaman.

1. Hunt of the Desert Vollac

• Collect 10 Vollac Teeth.
• The objective text says to give them to Pisaro.
• The completion NPC is again listed as Leaman.

1. Garren's Request

• Go to Geren.

1. Find Wine's Trace

• Search the adventurer camp.
• Obtain The 2500 Year Old Wine Cork.
• Return to Geren.

1. Deliver the Wine Report

• Deliver the report to Koro.
• The required item code is named Silver Shield in the item table, but the quest description clearly treats it as the wine report.

Data warning

The final required item has an inconsistent internal name. Follow the quest description and quest tracker, not the raw item name.

The source files do not expose every starting-NPC link for this story chain. The order above follows the quest numbering and narrative descriptions, but the exact NPC that opens each next step must still be confirmed in game.

Level 33 — Magical Essence Chain

Step 1: [33] Magical Stones

• Collect 30 Magical Stones from Kayron Magicians.
• Reward: 1 Magical Essence.

Step 2: [33] The Essence of Magical Power

• Bring 3 Magical Essences.

Dependency flow

You normally need to complete the first quest three times to satisfy the second quest.

Level 36 — Warrior Stone and Gratitude

[36] Combat of Kayron Soldier

• Collect 20 Warrior Stone Hammers.
• Reward:
• 1 Gratitude of the Deserted Area.

Unlike the level-30 chain, this quest awards Gratitude directly and skips the Reward conversion step.

[36] Reward of the Desert

• Bring 20 Gratitude of the Deserted Area.
• Receive the special listed reward.

Powerful Ring +5

The four stolen +5 rings are split between:

• Chief Kayron in TWD;
• Keigls in Cave of Exile.

Return all four to Arebeth Wallen in Millena Town to receive Force Ring +5.

Level 40 — Higher TWD Mission Quests

[40] Chief Kayron

Requirements:

• 1 Chief Kayron Skull;
• kill 10 Kayron Magicians;
• kill 10 Kayron Warriors.

[40] Vollac Meat

• Collect 30 Vollac Meat.
• Source: Vollac enemies.

These quests can be combined while progressing toward the Vollac area.

Level 41 — Powerful Ring +6

The four stolen +6 rings are split between:

• Tabra Kayron in TWD;
• Head Grizul in Cave of Exile.

Return all four to Arebeth Wallen to receive Force Ring +6.

Level 43 — Male Vollac Material Quest

[43] Black Stone Toe Nail

• Collect 30 Male Vollac Black Toe Nails.
• Source: Male Vollac.
• Turn in to the Mission Messenger.

Reward of Advance Base and Gratitude of Advance Base

Advance Base timed quests use a second reward system:

Timed hunt / supply quest
        ↓

        ↓ conversion quests
Gratitude of Advance Base

class-specific weapons, armor, shields or potions

The item codes confirm that these are distinct currencies:

• Reward of Advance Base
• Gratitude of Advance Base

Do not mix them with Reward/Gratitude of the Deserted Area.

Common Gratitude costs

The exchange entries generally use:

• 1 Gratitude of Advance Base for an armor piece;
• 2 Gratitudes of Advance Base for a weapon or shield;
• 5 Gratitudes of Advance Base for the Full Potion reward.

TWD Equipment Production and Delivery Chains

TWD uses the same two-step production model as ESA.

Receive a special S supply item

Accept the matching transfer quest
        ↓
Deliver armor to Flora Aramis in Haku

• Some rewards must first be accumulated and converted into Gratitude.

• Mission quests, timed quests and equipment exchanges are separate systems.

1. Trusting an inconsistent internal item name

• The final wine-report objective is internally labelled Silver Shield even though the quest description identifies it as a report.

1. Abandoning a serial quest

• Some nearby pre-level-28 quests explicitly warn that abandoning them permanently breaks their serial continuation. Avoid abandoning a quest marked “Serial Quest”.

6. Recommended Player Route

Rain

1. Enter ESA at level 28 and complete the script delivery.
2. Accept the available Pico training quests at Ingarden.
3. At level 30, combine the available Pico Mission Messenger quests.
4. At level 33–38, stack all Urake material and training quests.
5. Complete the +5 necklace quest while farming Picmanser.
6. At level 40+, stack Colos Fur, Unique Mineral and Ingarden defense quests.
7. Complete the +6 necklace quest while farming Orso.
8. Save Reward of Ingarden until choosing an exchange or supply goal.

Millena

1. Enter TWD at level 28 and complete the script delivery.
2. At level 30, farm Kayron Horns and begin converting Rewards into Gratitude.
3. Follow the Leggi/Agnon/Pisaro/Geren/Koro story chain when its NPC steps appear.
4. At level 33, repeat Magical Stones until enough Magical Essence is available.
5. At level 36, farm Warrior Stone Hammers for direct Gratitude.
6. Complete the +5 ring quest through Chief Kayron and Cave of Exile.
7. At level 40–43, combine Chief Kayron and Vollac objectives.
8. Complete the +6 ring quest through Tabra Kayron and Cave of Exile.
9. Keep produced S supply items until their Haku delivery is complete.
